What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

The Broker - What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform this new, that range is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That will be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Here is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
